Fork Road Pottery was shaped by many hands, and at its heart was Marsha, her skill, her eye, and her deep devotion to clay.
Over the years, Fork Road has been a place of learning and collaboration, where other potters trained, created, and signed their work, and where many gifted painters brought surfaces to life alongside the clay.
Before her passing, before she even knew she was sick, Marsha had invested in a large supply of clay to complete the many orders she had received.
For months she worked hard, spinning and forming many dishes that were left unpainted or only partially finished in the studio. After the news of her illness, everything paused as we tried to process and support her.
Daniel and the rest of the team are now carefully completing those pieces and creating new ones from the remaining clay, in the same studio, using the same glazes and tools they all worked with.
Most of the new pieces are signed by Daniel, as they should be, but they are being made in fulfilment of Marsha’s intention… to see that the materials and forms she created become real, usable pottery rather than going to waste.
Offering them now is not about replacing Marsha; it is about honouring her plans, her community, and the life she built through Forks Road Pottery.
